In Part 1 of Establishing Composure in Public Speaking, I discussed the value of approaching the lectern with confidence and acknowledging your audience before opening your mouth to speak.
What I havent mentioned, however, is what I believe to be the most important thing you should do before you even begin your walk to the lectern.
